Our father, James Berkovits, started the business back in 1975 in a basement in the small town of Knivsta, using cleavers supplied by G.W. Steffens. Today, brothers David and Dan continue to run the family business together with their team. Much has changed over the past 50 years, but the passion remains the same.
Our product range and delivery volumes have grown significantly, while maintaining the same focus and commitment. We operate from our own energy-efficient 2,000 m²/21 500 ft² facility in Arlandastad, featuring a combined high-bay warehouse and office space.
At Berkos, our guiding principle and company culture are centered on providing a high level of service and accessibility, combined with creativity and expertise. We are convinced that our background gives our customers added value, as we are involved throughout the entire process. From the very first contact until the ink has dried, the same people are there every step of the way. Installation, service, and troubleshooting are all carried out by the same individuals. We believe this creates long-term, reliable, and secure business relationships.
